Luka Ploče is one of the most significant strategic deep-draft ports in the central Adriatic and represents the most powerful economic entity in the area from Split to Dubrovnik. Although it is a port in Croatia, it is of exceptional importance for the economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and with the completion of Corridor Vc, it will further expand its operations to other countries in Western and Central Europe. Luka Ploče d.d. is a universal port through which the transport of almost all types of cargo in international maritime traffic passes through. Due to its geostrategic position and new investments, it is included in the world map of ports that can accept capesize ships (up to 180,000 DWT). The Port of Ploče covers 230 hectares and operates with a total of seven terminals, the most important of which are the container terminal and the bulk cargo terminal. In 2019, ENNA crossed the control threshold of 25 percent of shares in Luka Ploče d.d., and from 2024 holds 43.49% of ordinary shares. ENNA and VTTI, one of the world's largest operators and owners of oil derivatives storage terminals, are joint owners of ATT, a terminal for the storage and transshipment of oil derivatives in the port of Ploče.
